[Class 64 (i)] Bricks with vertical elongated slots 11 are arranged in courses with the superposed bricks in successive courses at right angles to each other and with the central portions of the elongated slots in alignment to form continuous vertical flues 11<1>. The centre portions of the slots may be flared outwardly adjacent the upper and lower faces of the bricks. Flues 33 of square section are defined by the sides of the bricks.
