553,902. Hydraulic dampers. UNITED AIRCRAFT CORPORATION. May 8, 1941, No. 3043. Convention date, May 8, 1940. Divided out of 551,918. Drawings to Specification. [Class108 (iii)] [Also in Group XXXIII] A flexible propeller drive comprises a number of concentric overlapping shaft sections spline connected at their ends to provide a continuous driving connection through all of the said shaft sections in sequence, and a fluid-friction, torsional damping device is provided between the innermost and outermost of said shaft sections, the innermost section having an extension carrying the propeller. The description and drawings are identical with the description and first three Figures of the drawings of Specification 551,918. Specifications 505,077 and 514,725, [both in Group XXXIII], also are referred to.
