553,592. Propellers. WILKINSON, I. A. Feb. 25, 1942, No. 2452. [Classes 4 and 114] An air or water propeller driven by manual, wind, electric motor, engine, or other power means, for use in moving divers, aircraft, submarines, surface water-craft, or amphibious tanks, or driven by tidal or other moving water for driving dynamos, waterwheels, or rotary pumps, comprises one or more curved vanes cl carried by rods each of which has one end pivoted at b<SP>1</SP> to a radial arm b fixed to a driving shaft a, and the other end connected to a block d which slides in the rim of a wheel e eccentrically and freely mounted on the driving shaft a, the wheel e carrying a pinion f in gear with an adjusting wheel g which is fixed on a subsidiary shaft and is rotatable for adjusting the eccentricity of the wheel e and therefore the circumferential positions at which the vanes are fully opened and closed.
