[Class 80 (ii)] A crankshaft has one or more divided crankpins, the parts d, d' being integral with a crank cheek a, b, and having a slot-and-groove connection e, f with one another. A sleeve g which may be hardened surrounds the crank pin. The parts are held together by a bolt h, which, if the crank throw is small, is arranged eccentrically to the crankpin axis, as shown. In this case lubricant ducts j .. j<SP>4</SP> are arranged as shown. If the bolt h is concentric with the crankpin the duct j is omitted and the hollow bolt acts as a lubricant duct..
