551,578. Manures. MITCHELL, F. G. Aug. 5, 1941, No. 9935. [Class 111] A fertilizer is obtained from domestic refuse &c. containing paper or other cellulosic material by removing metals, clinker, ash &c. separating cellulosic matter before or after disintegrating the remainder of the refuse and subjecting it to bacterial decomposition, mixing it with the disintegrated residue and allowing the mixture to mature. Specifications 487,837, 500,548 and 533,153 are referred to.
