Abstract
551,028. Recovering photographic developers. KODAK, Ltd. (Eastman Kodak Co.). June 20, 1941, No. 7809. Drawings to Specification. [Class 2 (iii)] Photographic phenylene diamine or aminophenol developing agents, e.g. Elon p-diethylaminoaniline or 2-amino-5-diethylamino-toluene are extracted from used aqueous solutions thereof, in alkaline condition, by organic solvents such as kerosene, ethers, esters or halogenated compounds, dried and precipitated in the form of the hydrochloride by gaseous hydrogen chloride. Specifications 458,664, [Group XX], 474,353, 478,942 and 481,699 [Group XX], are referred to.
