Abstract

1,056,455. Chemical fogging solution. EASTMAN KODAK CO. July 10, 1963 [July 11, 1962], No.33018/66. Divided out of 1, 56, 454. Heading G2C. An aqueous solution used for chemical fogging in reversal processes comprises a boron compound having at least one and not more than three boron to hydrogen bonds or a boron compound containing two or more amine groups each bonded to a BH3 group, said aqueous solution containing an added acid e.g. acetic acid or base e.g. sodium hydroxide or carbonate and the pH. thereof being in the range 3 to 13. The solution may be a developer solution. The aqueous solution may comprise a sequestering agent e.g. sodium hexametaphosphate or citrazinic acid. The boron compounds are as specified in Specification 1, 056, 454.
