550,989. Floating docks. HARRIS, F. R. Aug. 1, 1941. No. 9782. [Class 68 (ii)] A floating dock is made of non-buoyant material with a portion having an arcuate or sloping bottom 6 and a buoyancy air tank 4 extending lengthwise of the pontoon along the middle thereof. The outside shell plating is preferably supported by channel stringers 7 supported by top and bottom members 8, 9 and interior bracing; the member 9 conforms to the shape of the bottom of the pontoon.
