Abstract
809,736. Boat with low resistance to propulsion. HORSDAL, P. Oct. 8,1957, No. 31435/57. Class 113. In a boat 1 having a broad substantially flat bottom 2 and a plurality of fish-shaped floats 3 fixed to and suspended from said bottom, each float comprises a hollow watertight body and a sharp nose located towards the bow of the boat and a flattened tail located towards the stern and disposed in a plane perpendicular to the bottom 2, one of the floats being disposed along the centre line of said bottom, said centre float being closer to the bow of the boat than the other floats. The air filled watertight floats constitute buoyant bodies which will prevent sinking of the boat.
