[Class 35] [Also in Group XXXVII] A number of different appliances, for example vacuum-cleaner, washing machine, refrigerator &c. are driven as required by a single electric motor that is detachably connected both mechanically and electrically to the appliance. The arrangement is such that with each appliance there is associated a resistance of suitable value that is inserted in series with the motor.
