[Classes 18 and 66] A box or other hollow article is made by superposing a series of paper and/or fabric sheets which have been previously impregnated with synthetic resin or other substance which becomes viscid and then hardens by heat, to form a blank such as that shown which is then folded so that panel 13 is embraced on the outside by one panel 15 while another panel 15 lies on the inside; the edges are thus rendered tight when the article is subjected to pressure between complementary elements of a heated mould. Cotton. hemp, jute and linen are mentioned.
