Abstract

546,563. Hubs for spoke-wheels. TIVEY, L. A. Jan. 17, 1941, No. 669. [Class 144 (i)] A spoke-wheel hub of the kind particularly for use with bicycles comprises a tubular shaft 10 with reduced end 12, ends caps 11 forming ball races fitted on the reduced ends of the shaft, and spoke discs 16 fitted on the end caps with inter-engaging projections and recesses 16b and 15 respectively on the disc and cap flange to prevent relative rotation between them. The recesses 15 on the cap are formed in a flange 14 thereon against which a projection 16c of the disc abuts. The disc is provided with apertures to receive the spoke ends.
