Abstract

542,663. Laminated springs. WOODHEAD & SONS, Ltd., J., and SANDERS, T. H. June 19, 1941, No. 10886/40. [Classes 108 (ii) and 108 (iii)] Positive means for securing laminated springs to the axle of a vehicle comprises a plate c furnished with corrugations c<SP>1</SP> which mate with similar corrugations on a packing plate rivetted or held by nesting projections to the top lamina of the spring. The plate c is clamped down to grip the packing plate, laminae, and axle together by the usual bolts.
