[Class 70] Rubber latex is purified and concentrated by adding to the latex substances such as acetone or soda lye which break the adhesion between the dirt particles and the rubber particles and centrifuging, the latex being purified in one centrifuge and concentrated in another. To avoid coagulation a so-called air-tight centrifuge may be used.
