537,892. Vapour burners. BATES, S. W. April 15, 1940, No. 6754. [Class 75 (i)] A needle B which may be operated against the resistance of a spring E to clear the nipple orifice D of the vaporizing tube A is guided by the substantially cylindrical middle portion of a coiled spring G, the tapering end portions of which abut against the tube cap C and ferrule H resting against a constriction a' in the tube. Additional guide springs may be provided abutting against inturned edges in the tube.
