Abstract

537,451. Airscrew spinners. CONSTANT SPEED AIRSCREWS, Ltd., and MARSHALL, F. G. April 5, 1940, No. 6139. [Class 114] The spinner shell a is supported at the front and/or rear of the hub by spoked members d, e, radiating from the hub k and terminating in pin and socket connections f between which rubber bushes may be interposed. The spinner shell may be detachably secured by pin and key-hole connections and for this purpose a locking-ring s may be employed which may be moved in and out of its operative position by a key w. A spring u securing the locking ring in operative positions is thrust aside by the insertion of the key. Specifications 451,553 and 485,903 are referred to.
