[Class 141] A life-saving waistcoat, a, jacket &c. is provided beneath its lining with two rubber or other inflatable bags b, c adapted, in wear, to lie upon the chest, the bags being connected by an inflatable tube passing round the back of the garment and one of them, b, being provided with a valved inflating tube e which is normally passed through one of the pockets or a portion divided from one of the pockets. A strap and buckle g, h assists in holding the device in place.
