Abstract

245,037. Gay, K. E. Aug. 25,1925. Lining; corts.-A detachable lining for garments is provided with two or more inflatable air cavities A which when inflated form cushions or pads at the seat and back of the wearer. The lining is attached to the inside of the garments by buttons D or other fastenings, which may be provided on tabs. Tubes C serve for purposes of inflation. The lining applied to coats may be utilized with the addition of a belt, whereby, when not worn, the garment can be folded and fastened up to form a pillow or cushion with air cavities inflated, or as a hold-all with air cavities deflated, as in Fig. 5. The belt may be the ordinary belt of a coat with an addition made to it of a hand-grip F for carrying purposes.
