537,367. Twist tubes. CAMPBELL, N. S. Sept. 11, 1939, No. 5472/41. Divided out of 537,335. Drawings to Specification. [Class 120 (ii)] In the production of staple fibre sliver from fibres arranged in condensed overlapping relation, the fibres are fed continuously and a false twist is given to a length of the sliver, the twist being arrested and held during the feeding movement and a further false twist in the same direction being then imparted to the same length of sliver ; the sliver is then packaged to prevent escape of the false twist. The means for inserting and holding the false twist is the same as that described in Specification 537,335.
