536,727. Mixing &c. machines. AKTIEBOLAGET ELEKTROLUX. Oct. 25, 1939, No. 28697. Convention date, Nov. 1, 1938. [Class 86] A domestic mixer comprises a base in which is a motor driving a vertical shaft to which the mixing vessel can be fitted, and an arm, projecting from the base which carries mixing tools, the arm and base being provided with feet whereby, on removing the vessel, the device can be moved down to rest on the arm to drive a mincer &c. The motor is housed in a casing 12 and drives the vertical shaft 21 through belt and worm gearing. The vessel 23 is detachably coupled with the shaft by means of a slotted member 26 and is furnished with a collar 25 on which the container can stand when removed. The arm 28 extends upwards and accommodates a member 31 carrying a removable mixing tool 32 fitted with a roller 37 engaging the rim of the vessel; the arm also supports a part 52 carrying a fixed scraper, and a foot 57 upon which, with feet 58 on the casing, the machine rests when turned on one side.
