535,564. Gas and steam turbines. MASCHINENFABRIK OERLIKON. April 30,1940, No. 7775. Convention date, June 17, 1939. [Class 110 (iii)] The fuel supply valve 4 of a gas turbine is controlled through a servomotor 3, 8 by the speed governor 1. During the time taken to reach a new steady condition after a change of load, a turbine throttle valve, which follows the movement of the valve 8 of the servomotor regulates the turbine. The valve 7 may be actuated through a servomotor of the type shown at 3, 8, or of. the controlled leakage type. A similar control may be applied to a steam turbine when the valve 4 controls the supply of fuel to a steam generator.
