[Class 100 (i)] The batch rollers 1, 2' of a jigger dyeing apparatus are driver from a common motor having a rotatable stator E connected by gearing 8 to one batch roller and a rotatable rotor 6 geared to the other batch roller. Brakes 10, 11 are provided for the rollers, the brake being disconnected from the roller on which the material is, for the time - being, being wound. A reversing switch 13 is provided for the motor.
