530,419. Chain couplings. DISTEL, F., DISTEL, G., and DISTEL, H. June 23, 1939, No. 18316. Convention date, June 25, 1938. [Class 24] The end of a double chain as shown in Fig. 1 is connected to the loop of an anchoring member by a yoke member q, Fig. 4, the legs p of which have projections n, o which engage within the last and second last links a, b of the chain. The legs of the yoke are held together by a ring member, preferably split, which embraces them, and is closed by pressure when in position. A shoulder r on the yoke provides a stop for the retaining ring.
