527,667. Rugs; blankets. STENTA, E. April 18, 1939, No. 11723. Convention date, July 28, 1938. [Class 142 (iv)] [Also in Group XVII] The underside of a rug or blanket is provided at about a quarter of the width from each side edge with sets of sliding-clasp fasteners 2, Fig. 3, so that after folding the end portions inwardly about these positions and doubling the folded parts about the median line 7 the fasteners, which are now at the side edges, can be engaged to form a bag as shown in Fig. 1. In the case of a baby blanket a lining of waterproof material attached by press-buttons may be provided. Removable shoulder straps enabling the bag to be carried on the back may be provided.
