526,038. Typewriters. EVANS, 0. (Olympia Buromaschinenwerke Akt.-Ges.). March 6, 1939, No. 7327. [Class 100 (iv)] Type-lever-actions.-In actions, particularly for portable machines, comprising type-levers 1, 1a mounted on an inclined segment 3 and connected by links 4, 4a intermediate levers 5, 5a and links 8, 8a to the key-levers 9, the intermediate levers are mounted on a straight bar 19 provided with upper and lower pivot-rods 6a, 6 for the intermediate levers 5a, 5 at the sides and middle of the system respectively. To prevent rebound of the type-levers from the rest 14, the pivotal connections 17 of the links 4, 4a are arranged slightly below the lines joining the pivotal connections 16 and the pivot-rods 6, 6a.
