525,607. Firing rotary kilns. SEIL, G. E. Feb. 24, 1939, No. 24301. Convention date, Feb. 28, 1938. Divided out of 525,645. [Classes 51 (i) and 51 (ii)] In a rotary kiln a number of oil fed burners 13 are arranged at the firing end of the kiln and direct flames on to the charge along the longitudinal centre line thereof, the flame from each burner meeting the charge at a point spaced from the points at which the flames from the other burners meet the charge. The burners are supplied with fuel and air as described in Specification 525,645, [Group XI].
