[Class 4] In an aircraft provided with dual rudder units 3, 5 and 2, 4, brake members 6, 7 adapted to be extended or retracted from the interior of the aircraft, are mounted on the upper and lower sides of the fuselage and between the rudder units. The members 6, 7 are provided with air slots as shown or with circular holes. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 the members may be operated independably or simultaneously. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
