523,204. Motors. NOETZEL, E. Dec. 28, 1938, No. 37644. Convention date, Dec. 28, 1937. [Class 35] An electric motor for use in the presence of explosive vapours or gases is surrounded on all sides by oil or grease which has no access to the interior of the motor and the static pressure of which is greater than that of the explosive substance; the motor is thus so sealed that'the explosive substance is unable to enter into the motor. A packing collar on the shaft prevents entry of the oil or grease into the motor.
