Abstract

523,076. Couplings. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd., and WINDSOR, W. A. Dec. 23, 1938, No. 37494. [Class 38 (i)] A laminated connecting link for highfrequency currents is made of flexible copper strips A secured together at their ends or at spaced points in their length by clamping, brazing or soldering and attached to a removable coupling by which the link can be connected to the lead-in terminal of a thermionic valve. As shown, the ends B of the strips A are soldered together and drilled or punched, and the other ends timed and inserted in a slot in a solid coupling C, closing the slot by pressure and soldering the ends therein. The coupling C may be formed as a plug or socket and the socket may be screw threaded or fitted with a clamping screw D.
