[Classes 36 and 37] A method of enclosing and sealing an electrical component such as a condenser comprises coating the inside of the ends of a metallic tube 10 with solder, inserting the component, and compressing and soldering the ends 10a, 10b of the tube, one or more conductors 13, leading to the component, being insulated from the tube by ceramic or other insulation 11, 15 attached by solder to the tube and the conductor.
