Abstract

1369127 Electrical connectors INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 6 July 1972 [9 July 1971] 31671/72 Heading H2E A multicontact connector for interconnecting circuits on opposed faces of a circuit board comprises a channel member 1 with dependent U- shaped pieces 2, each piece 2 having an S-shaped portion at its free end. In use the pieces 2 are inserted through respective holes 6 in the circuit board 7 so that the S-shaped portions abut circuit printing 11, 12, to which they are soldered; the pieces 2 are then cut at the bend of the U's and the channel member is removed and discarded. The severed ends are soldered to circuit printing 22, 23. Leads 20, 21 of a component 19 may be soldered as well for connection to the circuits.
