[Class 29] In apparatus for freezing goods by passage through a refrigerating chamber or tunnel, trays containing the goods are fed to an endless chain conveyer 1 located wholly within the cold zone by a feed conveyer 8 extending from the outer air into the tunnel and having lugs 17 to transfer the trays from stationary rails successively on to the main conveyer so that their ends are separated. The feed opening 19 is closable by a pivoted flap 20. The speeds of the main and feed conveyers are separately adjustable.
