522,821. Electric radiators. ALNECO, Ltd., and NEALE, W. Dec. 19, 1938, No. 36858. [Class 39 (iii)] An electric radiator comprises a rectangular sheet metal box 5 containing a reflector 8 secured at its edges to the box 5 by means of angle members 11. A heating wire 14 is coiled around a refractory rod 15 which is mounted on insulated connecting members 16. Springs 29 are provided on the sides of the box so that it is held in position in a recess 6 in a surround 7. The surrounding frame 19 may have a horizontal louvred opening at the top for the escape of warm air. A switch and terminals may be arranged in the box 5 below the heater, access being obtained by a hinged or sliding door at the back.
