[Class 82 (i)] A welding rod is made of an iron alloy containing 0.08-0.11 per cent. of carbon, 1.2-1.4 per cent. of manganese 0.55-0.75 per cent. of chromium, and 0.25-0.35 per cent. of molybdenum, with or without 0.25-0.35 per cent. of silicon and 0.15-0.25 per cent. of nickel.
