Abstract
522,320. Working dough. PETERS, H. H. C. Dec. 22, 1938, No. 37244. Convention date, Dec. 22, 1937. [Class 87 (ii)] A device for folding over the sides of dough sheets comprises a conveyer 2, at least one roller 3 mounted at each side of the conveyer on a vertical axis, means for bringing dough sheets into contact with the rollers 3 in a direction inclined to the conveyer 2, and at least one roller or disc 7 at each side of the conveyer mounted on a transverse axis just behind the roller 3 to fold over the sides of the dough sheet. The dough sheets 1 are fed to the rollers 3 by rollers 9, 10. The rollers 3 have conical lower ends so as to fold in the sides 5 of the dough. The rollers 7 also have conical inner parts which press down the side flaps of the dough. The folded sheet finally passes under a polygonal pressing roller 11.
