520,610. Plate heatexchangers. LARSEN, M., ZEUTHEN, C., and ZEUTHEN, R. [trading as SILKEBORG MASKINFABRIK ZEUTHEN OG LARSEN]. Nov. 15, 1938, No. 33240. Convention date, Nov. 15, 1937. [Class 64 (iii)] A plate heat-exchanger cumprises plane plates 1 and transversely corrugated plates 2 separated by packing strips 4 mounted in channels secured to the plates.- The depth of the corrugations is such that their crests are spaced from the plane plates. Fig. 4 shows a modification in which the plane plates are replaced by plates having longitudinal corrugations. In another arrangement the corrugations in all the plates are arranged transversely to the flow of fluid, e.g., milk, over the plates.
