Abstract
520,464. Washing and cleaning bottles &c. GREVILLE, E. G., and HICKMAN, F. C. Oct. 31, 1938, No. 31494. [Class 138 (i)] Apparatus for cleaning and sterilizing hollow vessels such as sputum mugs, comprises a tank 1 with nozzles 8 for delivering cleansing fluid to the mugs (not shown) but carried in frames 10 pivoted at 15 so as to present the mouths of the vessels to the nozzles 8. The frames 10 are operated by a handle 18 with arms 17 which can be raised and lowered. Fluid is controlled by a hand cock. The tank 1 can be heated to sterilize the effluent which can then be safely discharged by a valve pipe 3.
