Abstract

515,024. Supporting pipes. COLLINS, G. H., and COLLINS, H. F. May 21, 1938, No. 15197 [Class 99 (ii)] [Also in Group XXXVI] A suspension device for a flexible pipe 5, Fig. 2, comprises a spring 9 attached to a ceiling or other support by a hook 10 and carrying at its lower end a plate 8, Figs. 2 and 5, having a slot 12 through which a loop in the pipe is passed and then bent back over the edge of the plate into slots 13 in which the loop is releasably anchored. In a modified construction the plate has key-hole slots 20, Fig. 4, in which bends in the pipe are anchored.
