406,793. Meat hooks. MOYLE & ADAMS, Ltd., and MOYLE, A. H., Oldbury Road, Smethwick, Staffordshire. Oct. 14, 1932, No. 28669. [Class 89 (ii).] A meat - suspending device comprises spiked jaws 3<a>, 4<a> on arms 3, 4 pivoted together at 6, and a sliding member 7 carrying a wedge piece 8 at its lower end to engage with inclined flanges 3<c>, 4c. The flange 3<c> is integral with the arm 3 and the flange 4<c> with the arm 4, so that the weight of the meat, by tending to draw the wedge 8 towards the hinge 6, closes the jaws with a force which increases with the weight of the meat.
