Abstract

210,277. Yarwood, W. A., and Yarwood, A. Jan. 23, 1923. Hooks. - A device for suspending meat, bacon &c. comprises a rigid pin or skewer 2, to be pushed through the meat, and a U-shaped bracket 1 to which one end of the pin 2 is loosely connected by means of a pin 7 passing through eyes 6, 8 formed on the slotted end of the bracket 1 and the end of the pin 2 respectively. Sufficient play is allowed in the connection to permit the lateral movement necessary for the pin 2 to be engaged in and disengaged from an oblique slot 3 in the other end of the bracket 1 which is attached by a swivel joint to a suspending-hook 5.
