Abstract
259,962. Krõuchi, F. Oct. 16, 1925, [Convention date]. Strap fastenings. - Hooks c for suspending cables, pipes, &c. are hinged at one end to a strap a which passes round the pipe d and has a loop g slightly wider than the strap and through which the hook is passed, the loop bearing on the strap behind the hinge b of the hook. In a modification, a narrow loop is slipped on to the hook; the strap is then passed round the pipe and attached to the loop. The hook may have two tines in different planes as shown in Fig. 5 or be of bent wire i, Fig. 7, engaging the triangle c.
