[Class 52 (ii)] In chairs &c. in which a movable part such as the chair back is adapted to be positioned in two alternative positions a movable bolt e is mounted for endwise movement and engagement with a socket g the bolt e.being operated by means of a crank k to which it is connected by a link h. A bolt e may be mounted on each side and the crank or cranks serve, in one position of the back, as supports which also prevent accidental unlocking.
