856,194. Bedsteads. ITAL-BED COSTRUZIONE LETTI ED AFFINI SOC. a. r. l. Dec. 15, 1958 [Dec. 16, 1957], No. 40288/58. Class 52(2) A bedstead with a frame 1, springs 4 and legs 3 has detachable end sections 5 and covering sections 2 which have a channel housing 6, 6a to receive the frame 1. The side and end sections may be secured together by a recessed lever 21 engaging a pin 14, the lever 21 being linked eccentrically to an actuating lever 19, Fig. 2. The end sections may have detachable legs 25 assembled with a conical extension in a housing 26, the legs being released by rotating a pin 28 so that a cam surface 28a acts on the conical legs, the pin 28 having an integral lever 28b operated by a bracket 29.
