Abstract

447,330. Furniture joints. WRIGHT, T. H., 30, Broadwater, Tunbridge Wells. Nov. 15, 1934, No. 32895. [Class 52 (ii)] A bracket for use in assembling joints comprising adjacent mortices each receiving a tenon member comprises a back portion 1, Fig. 1, shaped into parts adapted to fit into the mortices, and arms 2, 3 projecting laterally and adapted to be attached to the respective tenon. The back portion 1 may be of L-section adapted to fit into adjacent mortices 5, Fig. 2, in a table leg 6, and the upper projecting arms 2 may be joined by a part 4 to which the table-top may be screwed. Fig. 5 shows a modified form of the bracket.
