Abstract

273,054. Bramall, E. H., and Bramall, K. B. May 3, 1926. Bayonet - joint fastenings.-In means for securing a leg 4 of a table, chair, &c. to the frame 1, of the kind comprising a dowel 3 carrying projections 11 adapted to ride up cams on a member 6 on rotation of the leg, the cam member is in the form of a plate or washer having two similar and diametrically oppositely disposed cam surfaces 9. The projections 11 may be the ends of a pin driven through the dowel 3, which latter may be strengthened by a metal ferrule.
