513,295. Toilet paper. HARCRAFT CO., and HARVEY, L. M. Nov. 10, 1938, No. 32600. [Class 26] [Also in Group XVII] Stacks 10 of toilet paper are formed by folding the sheets as at 15, 16 to provide them with a reinforcing edge or edges, and forming a notch or notches 11 at the edge and superposing the e sheets with the notches in alignment to form grooves to accommodate a paper, twine &c. binder 12. The notches may be formed by making a hole in the sheet remote from these edges and folding the sheet so that the fold bisects the hole. The walls of the notches may be made to extend over more than 180 degrees by punching holes of a suitable shape. The folds 15, 16 are so placed as to provide flaps 13, 14 of substantial width. The unfolded edges may also be provided with notches.
