Abstract

Folding box is cut from cardboard or similar sheet which has lines along which folds are made, forming the sides, base and top. The lines between the sides and top portions are curved so that when the box is folded the top forms a domed shape. This gives added strength and resistance to crushing. Two of the top sections have extended pieces and the other two sections have slots through which the extensions pass to hold the box closed, the extensions forming the single handle. Two of the sides have projecting flaps folding inwardly.
