Abstract

The sides (2, 3) are attached to the base (1) and the ends are extensions (6, 7) of these sides. The box is assembled by folding the parts into position forming double thickness triangular pieces (8, 9) at the ends of the base. The box can be stored flat by pressing the sides (2, 3) together, folding the base inwards round a central fold line (14) and the end pieces outwards. A system of fold lines (35, 39, 43, 51) permits the folding flat of the box, with the sides (2, 3) superposed over the base, the triangular pieces allowing the extensions to be folded over each other.
