[Class 94 (i)] A tool for facilitating the removal of tinned meat from containers comprises a hand pump 3 having a nozzle 4 in the form of a piercing tool. A thick piece of rubber tubing &c. 5 is fitted around the nozzle so as to project beyond the end thereof. The hand pump may be replaced by a cylinder or other supply of compressed air. In use, one end of the can 1 'is removed, the tool 4 is forced into the other end, and air is pumped into the can to dislodge the contents. When cans of irregular shape are to be emptied, the can is inflated before opening, to dislodge the contents from the sides.
