Abstract
512,295. Indicating-apparatus. JAEGERAVIATION. Oct. 20; 1938, No. 30425. Convention date, Nov. 29, 1937. [Class 106 (iv)] A plurality of instruments 4 are supported by a common plate 1 spaced from another plate 2 to form a chamber illuminated by lamps 6, the light passing through the frosted or striated inclined edges 4a of the instrument cover glasses 4 to illuminate the instrument dials 8. The glasses are secured to the plate 1 by fixing rings, 5, 9 and a rubber ring 10, a joint being made with the top plate 2 by a rubber ring 11. The inner surface of the chamber may be coated with reflecting or diffusing medium and the plate 1 may be shaped to' form the casings 3 of the instruments.
